Lloyd A. Koch
Lloyd A. Koch, 82, of Kewaskum, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at his home.
He was born on July 7, 1925, in Mosinee, the son of the late Henry and Beulah Koch, and on Feb. 11, 1950, he was united in marriage to Ellen Willwohl in Bad Homberg, Germany, while he was serving in the U. S. Army.
His wife preceded him in death on Sept. 25, 2007.
Lloyd proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
He was retired from the U.S. Post Office and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels.
Survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Miller of Kewaskum; a grandson, Jason (Becky) Miller; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Bradley and Nathan Miller; two sisters, Luella Legler of Shawano and Katherine Brosel of Menomo-nee Falls; a sister-in-law, Gerti Matzner of Germany; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters and a brother-in-law, Gunter Matzner.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lloyd will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb, 1, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels.
Military honor rites by the Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384 Kewaskum will follow Mass, and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of Mass.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum has been entrusted with Lloyd’s arrangements.
