Miriam was born on Jan. 24, 1941 in East Troy, the daughter of Torris and Ruth (nee Karste) Torrison. She was married to Enzo De Florentiis and had a son Luca. Miriam later married Jay Hunt and had a son Peter.

Miriam will always be remembered for her sense of humor, love of family and love of animals. She was happiest when she was cooking in her kitchen, decorating her home, being with her grandchildren and searching for antiques. Her humble and unpretentious demeanor made her the friend of many who will remember her laugh and her smile.

Miriam will be loved and missed always by her two children, Luca De Florentiis (Mary Jo) and Peter Hunt of Cedarburg; and her four grandchildren, Nick, Katie, Julia and Anabella. She is further survived by her three sisters, Christine (Franco) Raffini of Miami, Fla., Lucia (Suham) Salman of Downers Grove, Ill., Elizabeth Torrison (Tom Friemoth) of Kewaskum and Fred Bohlmann of Cedarburg. Miriam will also be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews, Alexander Raffini, Christopher Salman, Timothy Salman, Elena Falco and Melissa Grunow. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Miriam was preceded in death by her parents.
