Arland H. Seyfert, 87

Arland H. Seyfert, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabili-tation Center of West Bend.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1921, in the town of Addison to the late Walter and Ilma (nee Rosenthal) Seyfert.

Arland married Lucille (nee Abel) on May 10, 1941, at St. JohnÍs Lutheran Church of West Bend.

He worked for 7Up Bottling Co. for 37 years.

In retirement, Arland volunteered his services by driving friends and family to Milwaukee for various appointments. He enjoyed spending time in northern Wisconsin, especially being on lakes and fishing.

He is survived by his wife; brother, Harold (Marjorie) Seyfert of Allenton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Milton (Lorraine) Abel, John (Ruth) Abel and Shirley Reuter; nieces and nephews, Bonnie (Jerry) Gellert, Suzanne (Doug Spaeth) Milkus, Cindy (Mike) Kuepper, Mary (Tom) Dwyer, Patti (Brian) Loomans, Kim (Tim) Pfeifer, Steve Seyfert, John (Jane) Abel, Bruce Abel, Scott (Lisa) Abel, Cindy (Mike) Tomko, Terry Reuter, Debbie (Gary) Puestow, Kenneth (Valerie) Abel, Carolyn (Norman) Hoefert, Kathy (Jim) Hollingsworth, Mary (Richard) Schweitzer, Nancy (Ronald) Loehr, and Jimmy Abel; He is further survived by numerous grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores (Norman) Stef-fen; parents-in-law, John and Esther Abel; two sisters-in-law, Lucille and Jeanelle Abel; and two brothers-in-law, Ray Abel and Robert Reuter.

The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. George Mumm officiating.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. JohnÍs Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095) or Cedar Community (5595 County Hwy Z, West Bend, WI 53095).
