Mary J. Pagac, 90

Mary J. Pagac of Hartford, formerly of Milwaukee, went home to the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2008, at Wellington Place in Hartford. She was 90 years old.

She was born on March 2, 1918, in Chisholm, Minn., to John and Jenny (nee Boytz) Tomisch.

Mary was united in marriage to Joseph Pagac on Sept. 24, 1938, in Dubuque, Iowa.

Mary was a member of the Eastern Star and the Hartford Senior Friends.

Mary and Joe wintered in Arizona for many years. She loved to knit, crochet and sew. Mary also loved to travel, to read and to camp out. She was a very good square dancer and round dancer.

But most of all she loved her family and was interested in everything that they did. She loved spending time with them.

Mary is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joseph; her children, Joe (Barbara) Pagac of Hartford, Sandy (Ron) Raffay of Hartford and Jerry (Mardee) Pagac of Illinois; her grandchildren, Wendy (Jeff), Jill (Dale), Jeffrey, Jon, David (Jena), Brook (Corey) and Zachary (Monica); her great grandchildren, Troy, Reed, Sarah, Conrad, R.J., Coleman, Briana and Lexi; her sisters, Delores (Jim) DeLuca of Michigan and LaVearn (Bob) Ouka of California. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by nine brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Mary will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, in Brookfield.

Family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the cemetery only from 10 to 11 a.m.

Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Memorials to the 1022 Club (Adult Day Care Center) in Hartford or the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
