Norman R. "Buck" Dahm

Norman R. "Buck" Dahm, 80, died on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship, with his family at his side.

He was born on March 4, 1928 to the late Karl and Olive (nee Cramlet) Dahm in Juneau, and he married Beatrice Biert-zer on Jan. 26, 1952 in Waukegan, Ill.

Buck worked for several local businesses including Slinger Found-ry, Line Material (Ber-maco) of Barton and Falls Drywall of Menom-onee Falls.

He was a business partner of Tri-County Drywall and retired from West Bend Equipment in 1992.

After retirement, Buck enjoyed wood crafting and loved camping, hunting and fishing with his loving family.

Other favorite pastimes of his included bowling, trap shooting, and most of all, baking.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; children, Phyllis (David) Dietenberger of Fond du Lac, Jerome (Anna) of West Bend, Pauline (Kelvin) Schoebel of West Bend, Debora (Nicholas) Marx of West Bend, Brian (Theresa) Dahm of Coloma, and Brenda (David) Wagner of West Bend; grandchildren, Bradley (Becky) Dieten-berger, Amy Jo (Joey) Calderone, Jamie (Missi) Dahm, Jeremy (Jacki) Dahm, Jon and Amanda Marx, Katelyn and Nicole Wag-ner; two great-grandchildren, Nate and Kiersten; a sister, Ruth Laufenberg; a brother, Donald Gene Weber; sisters-in-law, Goldie Schmidt, Jo Ann Lentz, Marlene Weber, Phyllis Weber; and brothers-in-law, James (Mary) Biertzer and Donald (Bernie) Biertzer.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant great-grandson, Ethan; three brothers, Franklin, Arden and Mathies Weber; brothers-in-law, David Lentz, Gerhart Schmidt and Miland (Maryann) Biertzer; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Biertzer.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m.

Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family at this time.
