Arnold J. Binter Sr., 84
Arnold J. Binter Sr. of West Bend passed
away on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 84.
During World War II, Arnold proudly served in the United States Navy.
Following his discharge, he returned to the Milwaukee area, working at
Harnischfeger and Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
He loved family and enjoyed fishing on Big Cedar Lake.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Betty (nee Thom); three children
Arnold Jr. (Olivia), Barbara M. (Andrew) Cuga and Joseph R. (Karol), 10
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was predeced in death by his parents, parents-in-law, three brothers,
one sister, and other close relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13 at 1:30 p.m. at the
Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, with entombment at Wisconsin Memorial
Park, Brookfield. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from
11:30 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the Vince
Lombardi Cancer Center in Slinger, the Cedar Community Foundation for the
benefit of Cedar Haven Forestview Rehab Center or the charity of the donor’s
choice.
Arnold’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jella
and staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, Slinger, Cedar Haven
Rehabilitation Center and staff and Dr. Trivedi at Aurora Health Center in
West Bend.
