Olive M. Kissinger

Olive M. Kissinger (nee Groh), 87, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital of West Bend.

She was born on April 26, 1921 in the town of Barton, where she was also raised.

Olive worked at Enger Kress Leather Goods for more than 30 years. She married Clifford P. Kissinger on June 28, 1947.

Olive enjoyed doing various crafts, loved gardening and doing yard work. She was always there for others in their times of need. She was a Jackson Legion Auxiliary member and a longtime member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish.

She is survived by her siblings; Marcella Vogelsberg of Indiana, Leo (Pat) Groh of West Bend, Lucille (Allen) Zautcke of West Bend, and Margie (Richard) Klumb of West Bend. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Albert and Appolo-nia (nee Fellenz); husband, Cliff-ord; brother and sister-in-law, Sylvester (Ella Mae) Groh, and a brother-in-law, William Vogels-berg.

The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish, 1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend. A gathering of family and friends will follow the Mass. Cremation is at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend. Interment of cremains will be at Washington County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Cedar Community, 5595 Highway Z, West Bend, WI 53095.
