Robert "Bob" J. Wamser

A memorial Mass will be celebrated for Robert "Bob" J. Wamser at 1 p.m. on March 8 at St. Francis Borgia "SOUTH" Catholic Church in Cedarburg.

Bob entered into eternal life on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the age of 74.

Father Mike Lightner will celebrate the memorial Mass. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the south church, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Bob was born in Sheboygan on Nov. 14, 1933 to Edwin and Henrietta (nee Schmidt) Wamser. He graduated from Marquette University with a degree in electrical engineering and went off to work for Wisconsin Electric for over 42 years. He married Kathleen "Kay" Poole on May 19, 1956 at St. Clements Church in Sheboygan. Their marriage was blessed with five children.

Bob was also a huge animal lover and had many grandpets. He enjoyed camping, hiking and spending time outdoors, but his true love was spending time with his many pets and especially his loving family.

Bob is survived by his children Judy (Tom) Swetlick of Saukville, Debbie (Gene) Bradley of Saukville, Mary Jo (Kevin) Bowman of Columbus, Ohio, Mike (special friend Karen) Wamser of Cedarburg and Jim (Debbie) Wamser of Fond du Lac; grandchildren Brian, Cathy, Megan, Melissa, Ryan, Alex, Conner, Aaron, Billy and Megan; and many other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife of 51 years Kay Wamser.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be used for a dedicated nature memorial in memory of Bob and Kay are appreciated.
