Aurelia Frances Heller
Aurelia Frances Heller, nee Wiedmeyer, 92, of Milwaukee, formerly of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at home.
She was born on July 18, 1915 in the town of Herman, Dodge County, to the late George and Mathilda (nee Gundrum) Wiedmeyer.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence Peter Heller; daughters, Rose Ann Bolstad (Don) of Hawthorn Woods, Ill., Mary Louise Steinbis (Gordon) of Moscow, Idaho and Donna Kathryn Weingarten (Larry) of Wauwatosa; grandchildren, Rus-sell and Timothy Bolstad, Aulia (nee Steinbis) Mikami (Mathew) and Anna Steinbis, Madeleine, Loren and Logan Weingarten; great-grandson, Orion Mikami; sister-in-laws, Lucy (nee Cash) Wiedmeyer and Florence (nee Calenberg) Wiedmeyer.
She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Aurelia was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, Edgar, Alex, Jerome, Edward, Gregory and Richard; and her sisters, Stella, Anna, and Abby.
Aurelia was raised on her parents’ family farm in Dodge County.
On Dec. 29, 1948 she married Lawrence Peter Heller and moved to his family farm in Milo, Iowa for a year before returning to farm in Nenno.
In 1960 the family moved to West Bend, where she was employed by St Joseph’s Community Hospital and the West Bend School District.
In her spare time she loved quilting, sewing, knitting, gardening, reading, playing cards and spending time with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, at St. Anne’s Salvatorian Home, 3800 N. 92nd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m.
Additional visitation at St. Anne’s Chapel will be on Saturday from 9 p.m. until time of Mass.
Interment will take place at Holy Angles Cemetery in West Bend.
Memorials to St. Anne’s Salvatorian Home or St. Francis Cabrini Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave, West Bend, WI 53095 would be appreciated.
