Stanley Wagner of Grafton passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2008 at Vitas Hospice in Milwaukee, at the age of 71.
Funeral service will be held at noon today, March 18, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, following the funeral service.
Stanley was born in La Crosse on Nov. 8, 1936, son of the late Conrad and Lavine (nee Locke) Wagner. He married Doris (nee Klug) on Aug. 3, 1968 in Marquette, Mich.
Stanley retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He also retired from Doerr Electric in 1992. He was a longtime active member of the Cedarburg/Grafton VFW Post.
Stanley is survived by his wife Doris of Grafton; his children Thomas (Peggy) Mayer of Grafton, James (Deb) Mayer of Grafton, Susan (Jeff) Bielefeld of Neenah, Darlene Wagner of Grafton and Connie (Eddie) Richberg of Sorrento, Fla.; his grandchildren Brad, Dan, Miles and Dylan Mayer of Grafton, and Christopher Richberg of Sorrento, Fla.; his sisters Martha (Dick) Desjardin of Sun Prairie and Arlene (Tom) Bittner of Wausau; and his brother Jerry Wagner of Grafton.
He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
