Rose A. Boettcher

Rose A. Boettcher, nee Carter, 88, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2008 at Virginia Highlands of Germantown.

She was born in Cedarburg on April, 2, 1919 to the late William and Mary (nee Schultz) Carter.

Rose worked various jobs during her lifetime.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting afghans.

Above all, Rose loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, Betty (Ed) Bryant of Fond du Lac, Delores (Robert) Baertlein of West Bend, Barbara (Joseph) Nastal of Arizona, Ronald (Angie) Buchelt of Wis-consin Dells, Walter (Kathy) Bu-chelt of Random Lake; 17 grandchildren, John (Mary) Kirsch, Cindy (Mike) Wellnitz, Debbie Schneider, Jeff (Tracy) Kirsch, Robert Jr. (Karen) Baertlein, Michael (Pam) Baertlein, Daniel (Linda) Baertlein, Curtis (Shelly) Baertlein, Greg Rundhaug, Pat Rundhaug, Rick (Kim) Rundhaug, Josh Nastal, Janelle Nastal, Becky (Adam) Klitzke, Lisa Hinkel, Jacque Buchelt and Eric Buchelt; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Buchelt; her second husband, Helmuth Boettcher; a grandson, Randy Baertlein; four brothers; and one sister.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 4 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Father Jeff Haines officiating.

The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 26, from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment of cremains will take place at a later date.
