Clarinda M. Yearling

Clarinda M. Yearling, nee Braasch, 95, of West Bend, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center.

She was born in West Bend on Dec. 2, 1912 to the late Otto and Minna (nee Schmidt) Braasch.

Clarinda became a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and graduated from West Bend High School in 1930.

She was united in marriage to Frank Yearling on April 7, 1934 in West Bend.

After their marriage, the couple moved to West Allis and Clarinda became a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, where she was active in the church choir. She also was an avid golfer.

Frank passed away in 1996, and Clarinda moved back to West Bend in 1997.

Clarinda is survived by a brother, Lawrence (Vida) Braasch of Yuma, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Mildred Braasch of Wauwatosa; a special niece, Irene (Jay) Welzien of West Bend; along with many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six sisters, Elda Jacobsen, Emily Kreutzer, Anita Kannen-berg, Florence Robinson, Valetta Eisentraut and Gertrude Beck; along with three brothers, Hilbert Braasch, Lester Braasch and Martin Bra-asch.

Funeral services in remembrance of Cla-rinda will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 6 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend.

Rev. Sharon Stier of Faith United Church of Christ, Slinger, will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

Burial will take place in Washington County Memorial Park on Friday at 10 a.m.
