Edna M. Baumgartner

Edna M. Baumgartner, nee Lisko, 80, of Hartford passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee.

She was born on Nov. 7, 1927 in Hartford to Alfred and Ida (nee Berndt) Lisko, and married Wallace Heintz Sr. on Jan. 27, 1945 in Huilsburg. He preceded her in death.

She then married Al Baumgartner on May 28, 1971 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford

Edna loved to cook, and she enjoyed gardening, bowling and pampering her daughter’s dogs, Mitzi and Snuggles. She even enjoyed deer hunting.

Edna was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and was active in Bible study groups.

She is survived by her husband, Al; her children, Susan (Richard) Raasch of Hartford and Kathy (Jim) Dei of West Bend; her grandchildren, Ross (Tracy), Craig (Dawn), Justin, Brandon, Ehren, Garrett (Nancy) and Jennifer (Russ); her great-grandchildren, Lea, Taylor, Jordan, JT, Brennan, Brandt, Ben, Alyssa and Kyle; her brothers and sisters, Ewald Lisko of Juneau, Hulda Hetzel of Hartford and Ruth (Allen) Musack of Hartford.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Sr.; her son, Wallace "Ace" (Susan) Heintz Jr.; two brothers, Arnie (Martha) and Walter (Marie) Lisko; and a sister, Ardes (Joe) Sloboda.

Funeral services for Edna will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 6 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford, with Rev. Jonathan Munson officiating.

Visitation at the church only will be on Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Associa-tion or Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
