Agnes M. Heppe

Agnes M. Heppe, nee Stashek, 76, found eternal rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Kathy Hospice, town of Polk.

She was born July 7, 1931 to August and Rosela (nee Ashbeck) Stashek in Milador.

Her teaching career spanned 50 years at Palmyra Elementary, Palmyra; McClain Elementary, West Bend; St. Francis Cabrini, West Bend; and St. Peterís, Slinger.

On July 2, 1960 she married Luke Heppe at St. Wenceslaus in Milador, and then resided on the family farm in Jackson where they raised their family, Sheri (Dave), Jay (Kristin) and Lee.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Lauryn, Alec and Marc Heppe; brothers, Norman and Edward (Judy) Stashek; and her sister, Sister Rose Stashek.

Her surviving in-laws include Lucille (Daniel) Stashek, Joan (Ralph) Shellinger, Dorothy (Ruben) Hoelz, Gen (Vic) Albiero and Val (Dick) Heppe.

Also surviving are nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents; her parents; brothers, Father George Stashek, Father Leonard Stashek and Daniel Stashek; a sister, Sister Marie Stashek; and a sister-in-law, Alvina (Norman) Stashek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Peterís Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St. Slinger, with Father. Richard Stoffel officiating.

Friends and family may visit at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.

Christian burial will follow in the new St. Peterís Cemetery.
