David Roethle, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 4, 2008 at his residence in Jackson.
Dave was born on March 17, 1947 in Hartford, to Norman and Therese (nee Kling) Roethle.
Dave worked as an independent semi-truck driver.
He enjoyed woodworking, playing computer games, being on the computer, fishing and watching his favorite television shows.
He especially loved taking care of his yard and trees.
Dave is survived by his two sons, Brian (Denise) Roethle of West Bend and Jason (Christina) Roethle of Ohio; his grandchildren, Audrey Anna, Amber Lynn, Anthony, Alexis, Katie and Elizabeth; a great-granddaughter, Anna Lynn; his mother, Therese Roethle of Rubicon; his brothers and sisters, Betty Roethle of Slinger, Michael of Hartford, Stephen of La Crosse, Nick of Slinger, Kristine Roethle of St. Francis, Cynthia (Glenn) Steiner of Milwaukee, Jeff of Rubicon, Chuck of Rubicon, Mary Jo Gundrum of Hartford and Annette (Peter) Wagner of Slinger.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Norman Roethle; and two brothers, Harold "Harry" Roethle Sr. and Bernard Roethle.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dave will be held on Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford, with Father David LaPlante officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Interment will be in St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford.
