Adeline Emily Koehler, "Schatzie," passed away at the age of 90 on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga.

A memorial service will be held for Adeline at noon on Saturday, May 17, at Faith Lutheran Church, N35 W6621 Wilson Ave., in Cedarburg. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is making the arrangements.

Adeline was born in Cedarburg on June 5, 1917, the daughter of the late John and Ida (nee Koepsel) Pergande.

Adeline liked to play bridge and bowl and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church while she resided in Cedarburg.

Adeline is survived by her son Bill (Joan) Koehler of Nokomis, Fla. and Hartford; daughter Judy (David) Chadwick of Cumming, Ga.; daughter-in-law Nan (John) Koehler-Becker of West Bend; and grandchildren Becky (Steven) Frazier of Cincinnati, Ohio, Chad (Donna) Koehler of Cedarburg, Andrew (Kelly) Chadwick of Raleigh, N.C., Todd (Stephanie) Koehler of Westport, Conn., Jenny (Les) Boyett of Alpharetta, Ga. and Katie (Hoke) Howard of Athens, Ga. She is further survived by nine great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Arline (Buddy) Lubner of Cedarburg.

Adeline was preceded in death by her husband W.E. "Mike" Koehler; her son Kenneth Koehler; and four brothers and four sisters.

Memorials to Faith Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or Peachtree Christian Hospice are appreciated.
