Wanda M. Andrzejczak

Wanda M. Andrzejczak, nee Jakubowski, 94, of West Bend, passed away Friday May 16, 2008 at the Samaritan Health Center.

She was born on Feb. 4, 1914 on the family farm near Stevens Point to the late John and Julia (nee Ebelka) Andrzejczak, and moved to Milwaukee with her family when she was a teenager.

On May 25, 1940 Wanda was united in marriage to Frank Andrzejczak at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Milwaukee, where they made their home.

Wanda was employed at American Lace Paper Co. and later at the Oster Co., both located in Milwaukee.

Frank preceded her in death in 1984, and Wanda moved to West Bend in 1986.

She attended Holy Angles Catholic Church.

Wanda enjoyed sheepshead and baseball.

She is survived by two sons, John F. (Mary) Andre of Big Cedar Lake, and Fred (Dolores) Andre of Milwaukee; five grandchildren, John M. (Taraa) Andre of Indianapolis, Ind., Christine M. Andre of Portland, Maine, John (Kayla) Crawford of Slinger, Scott Andre of Calgary, Canada and Angie Andre of Milwaukee; three great-grandchildren, Sophie and Hanna Andre, and Emma Crawford; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 10 sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services in remembrance of Wanda will be held on Thursday, May 22, at 4 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, with Rev. Jerry Brittain of Holy Angels Catholic Church officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

Entombment will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Memorials in Wanda’s name may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
