Visitation will be held on Wed. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Franz Rigert will officiate the service.

Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pilgrim United Church of Christ (1621 Second Ave., Grafton) would be appreciated.

BettyLou was born on Feb. 25, 1927, in Milwaukee, to the late Eugene and Florence (nee Mathews) Muennig. She married Vernon C. André on June 6, 1952, in Milwaukee.

For many years, BettyLou worked for and retired from M&I Silver Spring Bank where she worked as both a teller and a bookkeeper.

She loved traveling and taking cruises to foreign countries with her husband and family. In her later years, BettyLou also enjoyed taking day trips with the people from the Cedarburg and Grafton Senior Centers.

Her passion was both her friends and her family. BettyLou also enjoyed playing cards and belonged to the card clubs at both senior centers. She was an avid birdwatcher and relished their songs as she fed them in her feeder.

BettyLou was the dear mother of NancyLou (the late Dennis) Severson, Charles (Nancy) André and Eugene (Patty) André; loving gramma of Jason (Tina) Severson, Adam (Jennifer) Severson, Joshua André, Natalie André, and Kristin André; great-gramma of Claire, Andrew and Abigail. BettyLou is further survived by her close friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon, who went into Eternal Life before her in 1992.
