Ronald Jacklin Jr., 52

Ronald "RJ" Jacklin Jr. of Rubicon passed away Nov. 12, 2008, while on a hunting trip with family and friends in Iowa. He was 52 years old.

He was born April 7, 1956, in Hartford to Ronald Sr. and Barbara (Walsh) Jacklin.

"RJ" was united in marriage to Wendy Polster on April 24, 1982, at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Neosho.

"RJ" was the president of P.W. Walsh & Co.

He loved hunting, collecting guns, golf and NASCAR. He was a member of the Local No. 8 Ironworkers Union and the Hartford Gun Club.

"RJ" loved to have fun and will be dearly missed by the many who loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Wendy; his son, Joshua of Rubicon; his parents, Ronald, Sr. and Barbara of Slinger; his siblings, Michael (Peggy) Jacklin of Hartford, Sherry (Jeff) Kwiatkowski of Crivitz, Dale (Linda) Jacklin of Jefferson, Jim (Shawn) Jacklin of Slinger and Randy (Kris) Jacklin of Richfield; his father- and mother-in-law, Floyd and Florence Polster of Rubicon. "RJ." is further survived by, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jeff Polster; his maternal grandparents, Roy and Eva Walsh; and his paternal grandparents, Benji and Marge Jacklin.

Funeral services for "RJ" will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 125 E. School St., Neosho, with the Rev. Josh Kesting officiating.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, at the church from 2 to 6 p.m.

Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Neosho, at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church are appreciated.
