Albrecht E. Reichle Jr., 83

Albrecht E. Reichle Jr. of Big Cedar Lake (Slinger), passed away peacefully on Nov. 23, 2008, at the age of 83.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian, in 1994 and his son, Kirk, in 2005.

Al is survived by his devoted daughter, Gail; and caring son, Michael "Mick." He is the grandfather of Jeremy, Erik (Tracy), Jeff (Kendra) Reichle and Me-lissa (Mark) Punsack; great-grandfather of Ethan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Elaine Wallace; her son, Jeff Wallace; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Al served in the U.S. Army with the First Special Service Force, during World War II and with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for 37 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 3358, Slinger, and a lifetime member of the Milwaukee Optimist Club.

Alís father started a carpet cleaning business in 1944 and Al joined him when he returned from the war in 1945. He was the owner and operator of the family business, Metro Magikist Carpet Cleaners, until the business was sold several years ago.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield.

Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, 5042 N. 91st St., Milwaukee, with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Humane Society of Washington County.
