James D. Berweger
A memorial service for James D. Berweger of Grafton will he held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton. James lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at the age of 65. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to the memorial service. Inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton, following the service.
James was born on July 8, 1943 in Ashland, son of Fredrick and Victoria (nee Synkula) Berweger. James worked as a foreman for the Kapco Company in Grafton for many years and then later worked for Simplicity on the paint line. In his earlier years, James enjoyed ice fishing and hunting.
James is survived by his daughters, Wendy Gannon of Green Bay and Tammy (Scott) Maronde of Grafton; grandchildren, Jessica and Tom Gannon, and Megan and Alyssa Maronde; siblings, Joyce (Kenny) Gerbyshak, Raymond (Tracey) Berweger, Carol (Bill) Neyrinck, Glenn (Diane) Berweger and Sue Olson. He is further survived by Carmen Berweger; special friends, Gary (Judy) Berweger and Bob (Jean) Weber; other relatives and many friends. James was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Allan Berweger.
