Helen E. Cook, 92

Helen (Crass) Cook of Phelps and Sebring, Fla., passed away on Aug. 6, 2008, at the home of her daughter, Susie Dodd in the town of Arbor Vitae.

Helen was a former resident of West Bend.

She was born in Fillmore to the late Joseph and Edna (Gerner) Crass on Aug. 27, 1916.

Helen was joined in marriage to Clarence Klein. Clarence passed away in 1940.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Cook on April 18, 1942.

Helen worked for many years at the West Bend Co. She was a member of the 25-Year Club.

She was the last member to survive the class of 1934 of Phelps High School.

Helen enjoyed going to rummage sales, playing board games, working on puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Floyd; children, Mary Ann (Glen) Schultz, Wapiti, Wyo., Sharon (Peter) Stoller, Saukville, Frank (Debbie) Cook, Quad Cities, Ill., Susie (Mike) Dodd of the town of Arbor Vitae and David (Vicky) Cook, West Bend. Further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by six brothers, Merlin (Alice) Crass, West Bend, Donald (Jaymie) Crass, Phelps, Rog (Frances) Crass, Slinger, Everette Crass, Land o Lakes, Bruce Crass, Phelps, and Phillip Crass, town of Barton; sisters-in-law, Margaret Dorn, Kewaskum and Marinette Crass, West Bend; brothers-in-law, Lester Koenig, Land o Lakes, and Lloyd (Kate) Cook, Reedsville.

Predeceased by her parents; five sisters, Florence, Gladys (Edward) Lechner, Lorraine (Walter) Krauss, Edna (Arthur) Peters and Esther Koenig; seven brothers, Wilmer, Carlos (Ethel), Russell (Helen), Joseph (Edna), William (Cathy) Ray and Orville; two sisters-in-law, Ella and Dora Crass; Cook side of the family sisters-in-law, Ruby (Howard) Troedel and Vi (Gary) Koenigs; five brothers-in-law, Fred Dorn, Edward (Helen) Cook, Leslie, Helmer (Clara) Cook and Leonard; other relatives and friends.

At this time no service was held. Helen was cremated.
