Charles F. "Chuck" Jackson

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Charles F. "Chuck" Jackson at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 14, at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church in Cedarburg. Chuck died on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at the age of 73. Visitation will be held today at the church, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., prior to the Mass. Inurnment will take place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Chuck was born on Dec. 5, 1934 in Hartford, son of Arthur and Anna (nŽe Alton) Jackson. He graduated from Hartford High School and later received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. On May 12, 1956, Chuck married the love of his life, Helen Jackson, at Christ King Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Their marriage was blessed with four children.

Chuck provided 36 dedicated years of service to the Briggs and Stratton Corporation where he served as a production manager. He was a true sportsman, who loved to fish, hunt and golf. Chuck enjoyed watching practically any sporting event and he also liked to participate whenever possible. He was one of the co-founders of the Cedarburg Colts football program and coached the youth football program for many years.

Chuck is survived by his faithful wife of 52 years, Helen Jackson of Cedarburg; his sons, Dave (Deb) Jackson of Cedarburg, Mike (Teri) Jackson of Cedarburg and Joe Jackson of Shorewood; his daughter, Chris Jackson of Cedarburg; grandchildren, Carren, Michelle, Matt, Brian and Katy Jackson; siblings, Arthur (Julie) Jackson, Shirley (Bill) Doll, Pat (Don) Stachura, Margaret Jeffords and Billy (Donna) Jackson; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Watzin. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Bobby Jackson.
