Paul J. Lahr, 55

Paul Joseph Lahr of West Bend entered into heavenís eternal gates on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee at 55 years of age.

Born into the loving arms of the late Robert and Ida Lahr on March 5, 1953, in Milwaukee. Paul was raised in the Milwaukee area, attending John Marshal High School.

Paul met and married the love of his life, Cindy A. Rocque, on June 23, 1973, together raising three children.

Paul began his career as a maintenance mechanic for the Kelly Co. and later the Rexcon Co.

He furthered his education at Moraine Park Technical College. Paul moved his family to Slinger in 1980 and later moved his family to West Bend in 1993.

Paul loved hunting, fishing, his dogs, woodworking and carpentry work; his most important hobby was spending quality time with his family and grandchildren. Paul was a member of the Barton Shooting Club and Ducks Unlimited.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Cindy; his three adoring daughters, Becky (Brian) Kaminski, Vicki (Rick) Haber and Pam Lahr. He will be further missed by his five grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler, Sara, Jake and Lily. Paul is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church (215 Main St., Allenton, WI 53002), with Fr. Richard Stoffel officiating.

Private burial at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass at 1 p.m. on Friday.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Froedtert SICU, Dr. Paul Hal-stron, Dr. Phil Konkel and Dr. John Konkel.

Memorials are appreciated and will be donated to organizations to be determined by the family at a later date.
