Jean F. Zylka, 79

Jean Francis Zylka (Quigley) of West Bend entered eternal life on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at 79 years of age at the Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.

Born into the loving arms of the late Thomas and Ida (Reed) Quigley on Oct. 13 1928, in Milwaukee.

Jean worked for Briggs and Stratton in the office for 33 years.

She really enjoyed her in-volvement with the St. Frances Cabrini prayer group as well as spending time with many close friends and neighbors. Jean loved vacationing with family in Hayward and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Jean is survived by her adoring nieces and nephews, Jack (Marsha) Bardeen, Jill (Don) Tegeler, Keith (Tanya) Zylka, Patricia (Timothy) Fink, Michael Zylka, Kathi (James) Tenhover, Kris Krueger, Mark (Natalie) Zylka, Patty Kulhn and Nancy Kastner; she will be missed greatly by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudy Zylka and Eugene (Mary) Zylka. Jean is further survived by other relatives and many special friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, John "Jack," in May of 1999; her sister, Muriel (Bob); her sister-in-law, Dolores; and her nephew Bryan.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Jeff Haines officiating.

Burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Friends and family may visit from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. at church only.
