Jane A. Aubrey, 90
Jane Ann Aubrey (Mueller) passed away Sunday Oct. 19, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 90 years.
She was born March 19, 1918, in Milwaukee to Oscar F. and Esther (Burke) Mueller.
After high school she worked briefly before marrying Horace Aubrey on Feb. 10, 1938.
Together they began their family and she found the time to be very active in volunteering her time to the Full Shelf Pantry, Partners of St. Joseph Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Senior Citizen Center and Senior Chorus and Band, Washington County Homemakers, Red Hat Ladies, Cabrini Young at Heart, St. Peter’s Christian Women, and AARP.
Jane loved tap dancing and was an accomplished dancer.
Jane is survived by her children, Jane (Brian) Nielsen of Mequon, Marleen (Richard) Wischer of West Bend, Ronald (Geralyn) of Theresa, Mary Beth (Michael) Able of West Bend and Dawn Sodemann of Fond du Lac. Further surviving are her 27 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Mueller of Missouri and Robert (Pearl) Mueller of Milwaukee; special friend, Jerry Fait; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar; daughter, Judith Ann Verzal; brother, Richard Mueller; sister Patricia Elliott; sisters-in-law, Edith Mueller and Margaret Mueller; and brother-in-law, Robert Elliott.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Cabrini Church, 1025 S. Seventh St., West Bend. with Fr. Sean Grainger officiating.
Interment at New St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with vigil service at 7 p.m.
