Rosemary F. Roberts, 65

Rosemary F. Roberts, 65, of Ann Arbor, Mich., formerly of West Bend, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at her home.

She was born March 29, 1943, in West Bend, the daughter of Dr. Raymond Otto and Elinor M. (Turrish) Frankow.

On Nov. 14, 1970, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend, she married Dr. James A. Roberts, who preceded her in death on March 15, 2001.

Rosemary graduated from West Bend High School and earned both her bachelor and master degrees in speech pathology from Marquette University.

She was a parishioner at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline, Mich.

Survivors include her sons, James A. Roberts II of Ann Arbor and Brian P. (Jodi) Roberts of Brighton, Mich.; her daughter Maureen E. (Dr. Douglas) Miller of St. Louis, Mo.; and her mother, Elinor M. Frankow of Wauwatosa. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Milah Graves and Celeste Roberts; her sisters, Barbara (Dr. Maury) Graves, Kathleen (Richard) Chabot, Patricia (Dr. Carl) Moyer and Charlotte Boyle; and her cat, Sebastian.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Raymond O. Frankow.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huron Valley Humane Society or to the ALS Association of Michigan, 21311 Civic Center Drive, Suite 200, Southfield, MI 48076. Envelopes will be available at St. Andrew Catholic Church, where friends may begin calling on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m.

Burial will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos, Calif.
