Kenneth A. Matous, 84

Kenneth A. Matous, "uncle," 84, of West Bend, went to rest with his parents, sisters and brother, on Monday Oct. 20, 2008, at Riverway Place.

He was born and raised in Milwaukee and moved to West Bend in 1974.

Ken was a retiree of the Milwaukee Rail Road, with 43 years of service, and was a member of the Milwaukee Road Historical Association.

He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Milwaukee, the Holy Name Society, and a 50-year member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Ken was also a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence.

Uncle Ken is survived by his nieces and nephews, James (Mary) Radoll, Gerrie Seebantz, Dorothy Balabon, Shirley Petraits, Marilyn Gibson, Rose Petersen and Gerald (Joan) Kroening; greatuncle to, Sharon (Stanley) Pipp, Char (John) Omdoll, and Brenda Radoll; along with other family and friends.

Funeral services in remembrance of Uncle Ken will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. The Rev. Jerry Repenshek will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service. There will also be a visitation at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 76th and Nash, in Milwaukee on Friday from 10 a.m. until the final commendation prayers with the Rev. Dennis Lewis at 11 a.m.

Memorials to St. Michaelís Church, St. Lawrence Church or the St. Vincent De Paul Society are appreciated.
