Marcella Pulvermacher (nee Gebhard) passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at the age of 89.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Marcella at noon tomorrow, Sept. 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington St.), in Grafton. Father Mike Barrett will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
Marcella was born on Aug. 8, 1919 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late George and Louisa (nŽe Merkel) Gebhard.
Marcella resided at the Harbor Club Assisted Living Center in Port Washington for the past six years. Previously, she was a resident of Grafton for 46 years. Marcella was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton for over 50 years. She enjoyed making rosaries for the Catholic missionaries, playing cards and doing crafts.
Marcella was the loving wife of the late Armin Pulvermacher; the beloved mother of James (Mary) Pulvermacher of Milwaukee, Yvonne (John) Carini of Marietta, Ga. and Carol (Mark) Gustavson of Atlanta, Ga.; the proud grandmother of Kimberly (Nate) Wright, Keith (Sarah) Pulvermacher, Cari Gustavson and Gail Gustavson; and the proud great-grandmother of Lilly Pulvermacher. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Marcella was preceded in death by her two sons, Wayne and Earl.
