Esther Otto (Ritterbusch) of West Bend passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at the age of 92.

She was born Dec. 3, 1915, in the town of Trenton to Walter and Anna (Dettmann) Ritterbusch.

She married Traugott Otto at Trinity Lutheran Church on Pleasant Valley Road in the town of Jackson on Feb. 7, 1942.

Following their marriage, they farmed in the town of Trenton until their retirement in 1971, when they moved to West Bend.

She was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend.

Esther is survived by her children, Lorna (Edward) Wilger of the town of Trenton and Paul (Charlene) Otto of the Town of Erin; her grandson, Jason (Sarah) Otto; her four step-grandchildren, Dawn (Ronald) Graff, Todd (Ko-honna) Wittenburg, Rusty (Jenny) Wittenburg and Danielle Hayburn; one great-grandson, Payden Paul Otto; eight great-stepgrandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Beata (Jun-ier) Ehlke and Veronica Dohr-wardt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Traugott; her son, Howard; and her sister, Doris Krueger. Funeral services for Esther Otto will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Ave., West Bend. Visitation will be at the church only on Sunday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Internment will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday in Washington County Memorial Park.
