Floyd J. Hackbarth, 69

Floyd J. Hackbarth, of Hartford, passed away Sunday Sept. 14, 2008, after a long battle with medical problems. He was 69 years old.

Floyd was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Horicon to Herbert and Clara (Thom) Hackbarth.

He was united in marriage to Loretta Beistle on Sept. 10, 1960, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence.

Floyd worked for International Stamping Co. for many years.

He enjoyed feeding his birds, gardening and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta; two sons, Steve (Amy) Hackbarth of Reeseville, and Randy Hackbarth of Iron Ridge; two daughters, LuAnn Hackbarth of Theresa and Karen (Ken) Fischer of Hartford; one stepson, Dennis (Teri) Moser of Rubicon; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six step-great grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Hackbarth of West Bend; three sisters, Virginia Fredrick of Wisconsin Rapids, Margaret (Harland) Fredrick of Hartford and Betty (Carl) Will of Hustisford; and one sister-inlaw, Delores Kurth of Madison.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Wilmer, Melvin, Harold, Ronnie and Lloyd; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Helen Hackbarth; two brothers-in-law, Eldon Beistle and Kenneth Kedinger.

A Mass of Christian burial for Floyd will be held at 6 p.m., Friday at St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford with Fr. David LaPlante officiating.

Visitation on Friday at the church only from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

Interment at St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford.
