Jody Marie Goratowski, 38, of Random Lake passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Ill.

She was born on April 10, 1970 in Beaver Dam to Gary and Linda Schilling.
Jody grew up in West Bend and attended both Barton and Green Tree Elementary schools before she attended Good Shepherd Lutheran School. She graduated from West Bend West High School in 1988.

She received her associate degree in nursing with high honors from Moraine Park Technical College in 2000, bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Concordia University in 2006 and became a certified research coordinator in 2007.

She worked at Aurora Sinai Medical Center as a program coordinator for the Wisconsin Parkinson Association. She was also a facilitating coordinator for the Midwest Parkinson support groups.

Jody is survived by her beloved husband, Jeramie Goratowski; her loving parents Gary and Linda Schilling; two devoted sisters, Lori (Steve) Griggs and Christine Schilling (Ron Fischer), in-laws, Jerry and Julie Goratowski and Del and Dawn Lavey; two sisters-inlaw, Jessie and Jana Goratowski; brother-in-law, Jason Goratowski; niece, Chloe Goratowski; nephew, Dylan Shreves; grandmothers, Eleanor Thomascheske and Pat "Granny" Below; Godchild, Kierstyn Koenings. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

A funeral service for Jody will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with the Rev. Robert Hein officiating.

Cremation at Paradise Cremation Services, West Bend.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service, 7:30 p.m.
