Harold C. Achterberg departed in God’s care Sept. 22, 2008, at the age of 62.

Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Marie Achterberg.

Survived by his sister, Carolyn (Ken) Diener; his nieces, Michele Diener and Deanna (Robert) McLain; and his great-nieces and great-nephew, Ashley, Wesley and Kayley.

Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at David’s Star Lutheran Church, 2740 David’s Star Drive, Jackson.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1616 W. Mequon Road.
