Delores J. Leavitt of West Bend began her new journey on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at her home, at the dear age of 71 years and 364 days.

Born to the late Arthur and Ruby (Bearke) Wagner in Wautoma on Sept. 25, 1936.

Dolores enjoyed dancing, singing, fishing, watching sports (Brewers, Packers and Badgers) and really loved rummage sales.

Delores is survived by her loving children, Glenn Leavitt of Sheboygan and Beverly (Alexander) Danforth of West Bend; three adoring grandchildren; one brother, Doyle Heller; and one daughter-in-law, Louise Leavitt.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Leavitt; and her son, Larry Leavitt, both in 2003.

A funeral service for Delores will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. Don Berres officiating.

Cremation to follow, Paradise Cremation Services.

Friends and family may visit from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
