Marilyn A. Tepper, 56

Marilyn A. Tepper, (Hoeft), 56, of West Bend, passed Sunday Sept. 28, 2008, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1952, in West Bend to Robert and Dolores (Bales) Hoeft.

Marilyn attended St. Mary Grade School, and graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1970.

She then attended Cardinal Stritch Univer-sity in Milwaukee and earned an associate degree in working with the developmentally disabled.

Marilyn spent many years working both full time and part time with developmentally disabled adults, for the state of Wisconsin and the Threshold Inc. in West Bend.

Marilynís life was always centered on her family, their hopes, dreams and needs. She especially enjoyed their vacation time together.

She is survived by her husband, John; two children, Sean Tepper and Stephanie Tepper, both of West Bend; her father, Robert Hoeft of West Bend; three brothers, Jerry (Sandy) Hoeft of Heathrow, Fla., Gene Hoeft of West Bend and Steve (Debra) Hoeft of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Hoeft.

A memorial service in remembrance of Marilyn will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Emmaus Bible Church, 220 N. Sixth Ave., West Bend. The Rev. James Taylor will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday at the church only from 4 p.m. until the service.

Memorials to Emmaus Church or the Myeloma Research Foundation are appreciated.

The Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend, is assisting the family.

Cremation took place at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, and burial of Marilynís cremated remains will be in St. Maryís Cemetery on Friday at 11:30 am.
