Carol M. Zarling, 71
Carol M. Zarling of Cedarburg passed away
peacefully at her home on Saturday Sept. 27, at the age of 71 years.
Carol was born in Cedarburg, on Feb. 7, 1937, to the late George and
Ardine (Helm) Griesbach and married Rudolph Zarling on June 15, 1957, at
First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
Carol was a longtime, active member at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church.
She was past president of the Ladies Aide; she was a member of the mixed
choir, the bell choir and was a member of the Trinity Gospel Trio.
She was an administrative assistant for their family business, Investors
Planning Center. She enjoyed writing and her greatest joy was taking care
of her new grandson, Ethan.
She is survived by her husband, Rudolph; children; Denise Zarling and Nola
(Brian) Zemlicka; grandson, Ethan Zemlicka; sister, Lenore (Jerry) Zahn;
sister-in-law, Merylan Griesbach; and brother-in-law Ivan (Donna) Zarling.
She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at David’s Star Ev.
Lutheran Church. 2740 David’s Star Drive, Jackson. Interment in the
church cemetery.
Visitation at the church on Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the
church from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
