Marjorie Shortridge of Cedarburg, formerly of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2009, at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg at the age of 86.
Marjorie was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 31, 1922, to the late John and Ann (nee Oberle) Flanagan and married the late William Shortridge in 1956 in Las Vegas.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Arlene (Wayne) Keller of Eagle River and Robert (Sharon) Bauer of Conover; grandchildren, Michael (Paula) Keller of Oshkosh, Debi (Ron) Theis of Belgium, John (Jodie) Keller of Sheboygan, Wayne (Annette) Keller of Phelps, Steve (Kris) Keller of Belgium and Eric (Kay) Bauer of Richfield. She is further survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 noon on Monday, April 13, 2009, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Marjorie will lie in state at the church Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
