Harriet Hannah Liermann
Harriet Hannah Liermann, 81, formerly
Random Lake, passed away Tuesday, April 7, at St Mary’s Ozaukee
Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1928, in Little Kohler, a daughter of the late
Edmund Beger and Naomi Brazelton Beger. She attended Filmore Grade School.
On Sept. 28, 1946, Harriet married Elroy Liermann at Filmore Reformed
Church. The couple lived and farmed in the town of Beechwood. Harriet
worked at the Beechwood Nursing Home. She was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church in the Town of Scott. She was a member of the Women’s
Evening Guild at Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Beechwood Fire
Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband on
Dec. 28, 2008.
She will fondly be remembered as a dessert and soup maker at the Midway
Restaurant.
Harriet had a big heart, loved children, loved playing cards and was
devoted to her family and faith.
Harriet’s hobbies were bird watching, the Brewers and watching Tiger
Woods play golf. She was a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother,
grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time spoiling her
family.
Survivors include three sons, Jim (Lynn) Liermann of Cascade, Dennis
(Brenda) Liermann of Idaho, David (Cheryl) Liermann of Hayward; two
daughters, Brenda (Rick) Binder of Random Lake, Lisa (Norm) Fischer of
Kewaskum; 13 grandchildren; 15 3/4 great-grandchildren; two
brothers-in-law, Carl (Myrtle) Liermann of Windchester and Paul (Shirley)
Liermann of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Kocher of West Bend and
Sharon (Ron) Geidel of West Bend. She is also survived by nieces, nephews,
other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda, one brother, Monroe, and
two sisters, Audrey and Arnella.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel
Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. The Rev. Kurt Ziemann, pastor of the
church, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may gather at the church on Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. until the
time of services.
A memorial fund is being established in Harriet’s name.
