Debra S. Aschebrook
Debra S. Aschebrook (nee Kruse) of Mayville entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, after 40 years of life.
She was born on July 17, 1968, to her loving parents, Norman R. and Joan E. (nee Dettmann) Kruse in Milwaukee. She was raised in the Cedarburg area and was a 1986 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Debra furthered her education at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and graduated in 1990. After schooling, she honorably entered into the U.S. Army, serving her country through Desert Storm as a captain.
On Sept. 29, 1990, Debra devoted her love and life to Danny G. Aschebrook through marriage and they began a loving family of their own. She dedicated her spare time and energy to the Lutheran Womenís Missionary League and to 4-H as a leader and also enjoyed photography, camping, horseback riding, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Debra will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Danny Aschebrook; their children, Abeni, Caleb and Olivia; her cherished parents, Norman and Joan Kruse of Adell; her siblings, James (MaiNhia) Kruse of Milwaukee, JoEllen Kruse of New Berlin, and John (Pam) Kruse of Jackson; her mother-in-law, Maxine Aschebrook of Auburndale; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Carl) Adkins of Johnson Creek; and brothers-in-law, Dave (Jill) Aschebrook of Greendale, Lyle (Betty) Aschebrook of Edgar, Gordie (Donna) Aschebrook of Beaver Dam, Brian Aschebrook of Auburndale, Kelly (Lisa) Aschebrook of Oshkosh, and Darrin (Jody) Aschebrook of Nekoosa. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other special relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Eugene Aschebrook.
Visitation with family and friends was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2009, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, 450 Bridge St., Mayville, with a continued visitation at church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2009. A funeral service honoring Debra took place at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2009, at the church, with the Rev. James Mallmann officiating. Interment will take place at Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.
In lieu of flowers, the Aschebrook family would like to express their appreciation for memorials offered to the St. Johnís Mayville Lutheran High School Scholarship Fund.
