Clayton M. Miller, 52, of the town of Addison, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009, at St. Joseph’s/Froedtert Community Health Hospital.
Clayton was born on Aug. 6, 1956, in West Bend to Raymond and Lucille (nee Gasper) Miller. He was raised in Allenton and graduated from Slinger High School, class of 1974. Clayton married Carol (nee Schmitt) on Sept. 4, 1976, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Nenno. The couple raised their family in the town of Addison. Clayton worked at Roundy’s Inc. in Oconomowoc for the past 28 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, but most of all, loved his wife, children and cherished his grandchildren. Clayton was a member of the Local 200 Teamsters Union of Milwaukee.
Clayton will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol; sons, Craig (Nicole) of West Bend and Christopher (Nicole) of Allenton. He is further survived by his cherished grandchildren, Aiden and Ethan of Allenton and Gia of West Bend; his parents, Raymond and Lucille Miller of West Bend; parents-in-law, Franklin and Dolores Schmitt of Mayville; brothers, Brian “Emmett” (Mary) Miller of West Bend, Eugene (Khristine) Miller of Kewaskum, Greg (Kelly) Miller of West Bend; sister, Cheryl (Wes) Gaedtke of West Bend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Corinne Marie, and grandparents, Milo and Mary Miller and John and Odelia Gasper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church of St. Lawrence with the Rev. Joseph Dominic officiating. Interment of ashes will be at St. Mathias Cemetery of Nabob on Wednesday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be at the church only on Tuesday, April 28, from 2 p.m. until time of Mass.
