Donald J. Ziehr, 90, died Aug. 21, 2009. 

Beloved husband of Helen (nee Paulus); dear father of Patricia (Patrick) Niles , Frances (Michael) Vandre, Richard (Joan) and the late Michael Ziehr; further survived by 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sister, Beverly (Norbert) Klein; other relatives and friends. 

Mass of Christian burial will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with the Rev. Nathan Reesman, celebrant.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery , Fredonia.
