Nathaniel ‘Nate’ A. Strobel, 17
Nathaniel "Nate" A. Strobel, 17, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident.
Nate was born Oct. 9, 1992, in West Bend to Albert and Kimberly (nee Rehbein) Strobel.
Nate was a junior at Hartford Union High School. He was a member of the HUHS Varsity Soccer Team, which made its first trip to the state tournament. He was a member of the Cedarburg Strikers Soccer Team, F.C. Milwaukee, Super Y, 3 V 3 Soccer and Pele – 4. Nathan also enjoyed racing at Slinger Speedway and was Rookie of the Year in 2008. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting shoes and collecting cars. He was an expert at installing neons on his and his friends’ cars. He loved customizing cars. Nate was an entrepreneur. He had to be because he also enjoyed spending his earnings.
Nate is survived by his parents, Albert and Kim; his brothers, Bradley and Mitchell; his sister, Alexis; his grandparents, Ken and Ann Rehbein of New London and Karen Tronecker of Slinger; his aunts and uncles, Russ (Connie) Strobel of Ariz., Ken (fiancé, Stacey) Rehbein of Weyauwega, Lori Rehbein of Fond du Lac, Robin (Donald) Olson of Fond du Lac, Vicki (Tony) Schockley of Va., Lisa (Dan) Schnieder of Kewaskum and Joe (Jackie) Rehbein of West Bend. He is further survived by cousins other relatives and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert; his great-grandma and greatgrandpa Rehbein; his uncle, Fred Strobel; and his greatuncles and great-aunts.
Funeral services for Nate will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at 8 p.m. at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 3200 County Trunk K South, Hartford, with the Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
