Patricia ‘Pat’ Chapman, 74


Patricia “Pat” Chapman (nee Ryan) died at home Nov. 28, 2009, at the age of 74 years surrounded by family in God’s loving arms.

Pat was the beloved wife and best friend of Robert M. Chapman for 56 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barb Neeb. Pat was the loving mom of Mary Kay Chapman, Laurie (Tom) Wamser, Robert R. 

(Deb) Chapman, Jeanne (Tom) Paprocki, Daniel (Mary Beth) Chapman and “adopted” daughter Susan Ringwood.

Pat was the best grandma to John, Kelly, SSgt. Paul Neeb, USMC, Jessica, Eric, Kristin, Nikolette, Aaron, Sarah, Amy, Scott, Mary and Brittany; great-grandma of Ryan, Cameron, Dominic, Brendan, Cade, Allie, Jordan, and Samuel; treasured sister of Rosie (Bill) Schwister; and sister-in-law of George (Sandy), Shirl, Don (Eileen) and Marie. She is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. at St. Francis Borgia-South N44 W6055 Hamilton Road, Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of the Mass.

Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.

Pat was born in Thiensville. She was a former member of Lumen Christi- Mequon. She was a nurse at various nursing homes. Family was very important to her; she loved spending time with Bob in their gazebo, going to all the grandchildren’s sporting events and baking and cooking for the family. She loved to read and enjoy the beautiful flowers in her garden. She was also a league bowler. Pat was a friend to everybody, she taught many to love life without regrets. She will be greatly missed.
