Ralph P. Schnorenberg, 74

Ralph P. Schnorenberg, 74, of Hartford, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, surrounded by his loving family at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

Ralph was born June 5, 1935, in Hartford to Edward and Anna (nee Held) Schnorenberg. He was united in marriage to Nancy Navin on June 20, 1959, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.

Ralph was a former member of the U.S. Army, a former alderman for the city of Hartford and he worked for many years at Schnorenberg's Floor Covering. Ralph also owned his own business, The Fast Foot. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; his children, Sherry (Bill) Czisny of Gurnee, Ill., Lynn (Mark) Raddemann of Hartford and Jay (Buffy) Schnorenberg of Hartford; four grandchildren, Erica and Kayla Raddemann and Austin and Trenton Czisny; his sister, Irene Esser; and his brother, Clarence Schnorenberg. He is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, James, Robert, John, Edward and William Schnorenberg; and his sister, Mary Ann Funk.

Mass of Christian burial for Ralph will be held Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at 7 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford, with the Rev. David LaPlante officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church. Internment at St. Kilian Cemetery.
