Dorothy C. “Dot” Bradley, 61, of West Bend passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital.
Dot was born on June 12, 1948, in Mequo, to John and Mary (nee Tutwiler) Kraemer. She married John Bradley on Aug. 17, 1973, in Reno, Nev. Dot was the previous owner of “Dot’s Candyman” in downtown West Bend. She was also a member of the Pressure Cookers Ladies’ Group and very much loved spending time with this organization. Dot was incredibly focused on her family and devoted all the time she could to them.
Dot is survived by her husband of 36 years, John; children, Todd Bradley and John Bradley II; grandchildren, Casey, Scott, Blake, Layne and Caiden. She is further survived by her brothers, Carl Kraemer, Jim (Sue) Kraemer and Mark (Sandy) Kraemer; and sister, Kathy Wenzel.
Dot is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary; and her daughter, Rachael.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at the funeral home with the Rev. Rich Vincent officiating. Gathering will be Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to JAM/Immanuel Children’s Education Program.
Dot’s family would like to thank the entire staff of the St. Joseph's ICU and the Froedtert ICU and Trauma units for their care and compassion for Dot.
