Betty S. deVeau, 85
Betty S. deVeau, 85, formerly of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Thiensville, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at the Edgerton Hospital and Health Services.
She was born on July 5, 1924, in Providence, Ky., the daughter of the late J. Vernon and Edna (Bingemer) Sellers. Betty was united in marriage on April 7, 1945, to Philip deVeau at the United Methodist Church, Henderson, Ky. In recent years, she was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
Betty enjoyed bridge, playing golf and knitting. At Holy Trinity, she was a member of the choir, altar guild and the Daughters of the King.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Philip of Edgerton; two daughters, Candy (Larry) Schroeder of Milton and Karen
(Michael) Smith of Cedarburg; five grandchildren, Laura, Scott, Sherri, Brice and Shaun, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James V. Sellars Jr.
