Nadeane A. Yogerst

Nadeane A. Yogerst of Kewaskum, formerly of Menomonee Falls, was born Jan. 15, 1921, in the town of Theresa on the family homestead to Mary and Alex Fickert. She passed away Feb. 1, 2009, at Kettle Moraine Gardens with her family at her side.

Nadeane was the beloved wife of the late Harold Yogerst. She was the special aunt of Bob (Lois) Yogerst, loving sister of Sylvia (the late Willard) Gerner, Marie (the late Hilbert) Yogerst, Fabia (Bruno) Landini and the late Ferdie (Rosemary) Fickert. Sister-in-law of Marie (the late Ted) Strojek, Annie (Ralph) Schiferl, and the late Norman (the late Agnes) Yogerst. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Nadeane attended Dodge County Normal School and graduated in 1941. She taught school for two years at Herman Center. She married Harold C. Yogerst on July 19, 1941. She was employed at Allis Chalmers until her retirement in 1977. Nadeane loved to sing and belonged to the Sweet Adelines for 30 years. She also loved to camp, cook and play cards.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 at Good Shepherd Church, N88-W17658 Christman Road, Menomonee Falls. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. If desired, memorials to charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
