Gerald E. "Jerry" Mann, 63, of West Bend entered into eternal life peacefully at home on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.

He was born on June 1, 1945, to the late Harry and Gertrude Mann in Milwaukee. He was united in marriage to Sarah Kemp on Aug. 24, 1963. Jerry was the owner and operator of Transport Engineering. He loved to fish and play with his dogs. He enjoyed woodworking and used his creativity to benefit others. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; his dear children, Mark (Heidi) Mann and Edward Mann; his two adoring grandchildren, Sarah and Amelia LaDuke; his brother, Michael (JoAnn) Mann; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many close friends and four-legged pals.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan J. LaDuke; his parents and a brother-in-law.

A funeral service in honor of Jerry will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Entombment will be in Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials are welcome.
