John C. Krings

Born to eternal life, John C. Krings of Cedarburg passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at the age of 56. Many were inspired by the way John courageously fought his battle with brain cancer for six years.

John will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 35 years, Barbara; loving children, Michelle (Cory), Timothy and David. John was the proud grandfather of Theresa and Mallory, the precious son of Jack and Mary, the dearest brother of Kathleen (Horst), Jeanne (Greg), Steve (Judy), Dennis, Joe (Teresa), MaryAnn (Jeff) and Carolyn. John was a special son-in-law, fond brother-in-law and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Johnís family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Hendrikus Krouwer and his staff, Warren Williams R.N., and the entire Vitas Hospice team for their compassionate care and support given to his family.

The funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, Feb. 14., at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg, WI, 53012, with visitation before Mass at 10 a.m. The visitation on Friday, Feb. 13, will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at which time the Holy Rosary will be prayed.
