Marcella Tesker, 95, formerly of the Town of Saukville died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Samaritan Home in West Bend where she had been a resident for the past year.
She was born Jan. 20, 1914, in the Town of Trenton, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Mayer Fahney.
On Nov. 28, 1933, she married Donovan Tesker at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg. The couple farmed in the Town of Saukville until retiring. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Mrs. Tesker was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Newburg, the Christian Women, enjoyed gardening, canning her fruits and vegetables, and doing picture puzzles. She is survived by her daughter Marlene Boegel of West Bend, two sons Dean (Beverly) Tesker of Saukville and Henry (Sharon) Tesker of West Bend, her daughter-in-law Marlene (the late Donald) Tesker of Saukville, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, her brother Ruben Fahney of West Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her seven siblings Carl, Loretta, her twin brother Lawrence, Alois, Alice, Joseph Jr. and Roman.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at Holy Trinity Church, Newburg. Burial will be in St. Finbar’s Cemetery, Town of Saukville. Visitation will be held at the church only from 1 p.m. until the Mass.
